Part Time School Nurse

About the role

The position is located in multiple schools within the Jonesboro, Machiasport, Cutler, and Whiting School districts. The part-time school nurse will work up to 14 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to students as needed
• Assist with health emergencies
• Administer medications as prescribed
• Document patient care in accordance with school policy

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (RN)
• Current Maine State Certification as a Registered Nurse
• Current CPR certification

Qualifications

• Experience working in a school setting is preferred
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to manage time effectively
• Good interpersonal skills

Pay

Salary range: $31.00 to $37.25 depending on experience

Schedule

Up to 14 hours per week

Position will be filled when a suitable candidate is found
