About the role
Provide one-on-one nursing care in a school setting for students with medical needs such as trach, vent, G-tube feedings, seizure monitoring, diabetic care, and personal assistance. The role may involve riding the bus with the patient.
Responsibilities
- Administer and monitor medical treatments and devices
- Ensure safety and well-being of the student
- Collaborate with school staff and families
Qualifications and Skills
- Active RN license in the practicing state
- Current health certificate, PPD or chest X-ray, and BLS certification
- Preferred minimum of one year RN experience
