Part-Time School Crossing Guard
About the role
The Part-Time Crossing Guard will be assigned to cover Hal E. Clark Middle School, located at 8915 W. 93rd Avenue, St. John, IN 46373. The Crossing Guard works under the jurisdiction of the St. John Police Department.
Requirements
- Available to work both morning and afternoon crossing guard detail, consisting of two (2) hours per day during the Lake Central School Corporation (LCSC) calendar year
- Monday through Friday, excluding LCSC holidays or other approved school cancellations
- Morning crossing time is 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.
- Afternoon crossing time is 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.
- Early release-day times are 12:45 p.m. to 1:45 p.m.
- Must be able to work outside in all types of weather conditions
Pay
2026 hourly rate is $16.98 per Town Ordinance 1894.
