Part-Time Sanitation Worker 3rd Shift - Weekends

Primary Responsibilities

• Disassemble equipment for cleaning and re-assembly.
• May include general sanitation of plant work areas.
• Assignments to wash tools and equipment brought from the food production lines to the Steam Rooms and cleaning equipment during shift changeovers.
• Perform general janitorial tasks such as mopping, sweeping, filling soap and paper towel dispensers, operating auto floor scrubbers throughout the facility.
• Other tasks as assigned by supervision.

Requirements

• Must comply with Good Manufacturing Practices, chemical dilution and mixing procedures, appropriate wearing of Personal Protective Equipment, follow lockout tag out procedures and pass all required training for the position within 3 months of hire date.
• Must comply with all safety and quality good manufacturing practices guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education Required: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Minimum Experience Required: Not specified.
• PREFERRED: Experience with cleaning or sanitation tasks preferred.

Skills

• Ability to grip/grasp pressure cleaning hoses.
• Maneuver equipment to cleaning room.
• Stand/walk during all the four-hour shift.

Pay

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation.

Schedule

Graveyard shift, normal schedule is 10:30 pm Friday night to 7:00 am Saturday, and 10:30 pm Saturday night to 7 am Sunday.
