Job Summary

Aids in-store management with supervision, leading associates, and providing exceptional customer service. Functions as a front-line leader at the Alliance Town Center location in Fort Worth, TX.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Solves guest issues effectively.
  • Keeps supervisor informed of product, guest, and/or personnel issues.
  • Makes decisions about guest returns in accordance with retail policies.
  • Maintains guest service levels; provides feedback as needed.
  • Utilizes GUESTS program during interactions with guests and handling guest-owned jewelry.
  • Prepares and reviews supply orders from the JAC warehouse, orders other items through purchasing channels.
  • Performs opening and closing duties, leads training, and delegates tasks to associates.
  • Coordinates regular training sessions and seasonal training.
  • Assists in inventory processes, including cycle counting, adjustments, and merchandise handling.
  • Notifies appropriate retail and corporate of inventory issues.
  • Participates in and assists with store meetings.
  • Develops and conducts team-building activities.
  • Monitors product trends and communicates to District Manager.
  • Trains staff on service equipment and small tools.
  • Ensures product care services meet/exceed operational standards.
  • Stages, sets up, maintains, and replaces display items according to visual merchandising guidelines.
  • Maintains store standards for overall presentation.
  • Processes employee purchases in the absence of Store Manager or Assistant Manager.
  • Enforces company security procedures.
  • Reviews/creates employee schedules.
  • Ensures schedules comply with operational and budgetary guidelines.
  • Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Maintains attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Maintains a safe work environment.
  • Reports unsafe conditions to appropriate personnel.
  • Adheres to company policies.
  • Assumes lead role in absence of other leadership team members.
  • Buys into building and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to enhance working relationships and credibility within the organization.
  • Assists in other areas as assigned by supervisor.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • High school degree or equivalent with 1 year of retail or customer service experience, or relevant education/experience.
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Pass background check and drug/alcohol screening meeting company standards.
