Duties and Responsibilities
- Accurately enter customer orders into our system, ensuring all product specifications, pricing, and shipping details are correct.
- Proactively identify and correct order discrepancies or errors, collaborating with customers and internal teams to resolve issues efficiently.
- Collaborates with sales, inventory, and operations teams to ensure alignment of production plans with customer demand.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding order status, changes, and any potential delays.
- Assist the engineering team with administrative tasks and provide support as needed.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of our product offerings and internal processes.
- Support in the purchasing process as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma required. Associate’s degree in business or related discipline preferred
- 2 to 4 years of experience in an inside sales or order entry role within a manufacturing environment.
Qualifications
- Self-directed can-do attitude
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP or WorkWise) or CRM systems preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
