Job Description Part-Time Sales Floor Associate – HomeSense Holiday Hiring HomeSense is looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Part-Time Sales Floor Associate to join our team! In this role, you’ll help create a great shopping experience by assisting customers, maintaining an organized sales floor, and ensuring merchandise is properly prepared and available for our customers. What You’ll Do Provide friendly and engaging customer service throughout the storeAssist customers in locating merchandise and answering questions about productsHelp customers safely select and move larger merchandise, including furnitureFlow merchandise from the backroom to the sales floor as neededAccurately process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor following company procedures and standardsMaintain merchandising standards and keep merchandise organized and properly displayedPerform store recovery throughout the day to maintain a clean and organized sales floorAssist with maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the entire storeSupport store shrink-reduction goals and programsFollow all company policies, procedures, and safety standardsWork cooperatively with fellow Associates and ManagementProvide and accept recognition and constructive feedbackMaintain a safe environment for customers and AssociatesPerform other duties as assigned Who We’re Looking For Must be 18 years of age or olderExcellent customer service skillsFriendly, positive, and approachable personalityStrong communication and organizational skills with attention to detailCapable of multitasking in a fast-paced retail environmentAble to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situationsWorks effectively with peers and supervisorsAble to lift 50 lbs. or more, with or without reasonable accommodationComfortable assisting customers with furniture and larger merchandiseComfortable moving and flowing merchandise to the sales floorDependable and punctualOpen availability Monday through Sunday is requiredRetail or customer service experience preferred Schedule & Holiday Availability Part-Time | Sales Floor Associate Normal Hours Between 9:30 AM – 9:30 PM Mid-November Through Christmas Between 7:00 AM – 11:00 PM Open availability Monday through Sunday is required.
