Sam Edelman is seeking a Sales Associate to join their highly creative, forward-thinking team in providing a world-class customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Elevate the Store Experience: Assist in the overall shopping experience for all Sam Edelman clients utilizing the “The Sam Style” model, and providing an inviting world-class experience with a customer-first approach.
  • Actively engage and build relationships with customers.
  • Deliver on Visual Merchandising Standards: Assist store leadership with executing product placement and visual standards consistent with company guidelines and expectations.
  • Drive with Passion: Meet performance metrics by exhibiting a passion and enthusiasm for the brand and embracing and promoting company initiatives, contests, and strategies.
  • Deliver clear, concise, and timely communication to Store Team & Store Sales Manager.
  • Embody Respect and Professionalism: Engage in our professional store culture where all associates’ contributions are valued, respected, and appreciated.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Able to build constructive and effective relationships within store
  • Demonstrates an ability to communicate positively with store associates at all levels
  • Exercises independent judgment and discretion partnering with Store Sales Manager and/or Assistant Managers, as needed
  • Working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures
  • Ability to work effectively within a team
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours

Qualifications

  • Ability to regularly lift up to 40 lbs. from floor level to above shoulder height utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques
  • Meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
  • Be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time

Skills

  • Confident, proactive, and trend-savvy
  • Previous experience working with a luxury or contemporary fashion brand
  • Strong sales-driving skills
  • Trend-savvy and able to spend time on the floor working with your team and clients

Pay

The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Starting pay is determined by several factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

Schedule

Flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours.
