Part-Time Sales Associate - Famous Footwear

As a Sales Associate, you are passionate about providing the best shoe store experience for every customer by creating a welcoming environment and in-store culture where customers feel valued and loyal to the store, brands, and company.

Responsibilities

• Ace Retail Operations: Ensure daily store tasks (pricing, shipment processing, fulfillment, and inventory) are completed efficiently to keep the store clean, organized, and shoppable.
• Be a Famous Culture Influencer: Champion the company culture by delivering stellar customer engagement and top-notch experiences, helping customers find the styles and brands they love.
• Elevate to Your Goal-Crushing Era: Take accountability for your effort and its impact on store performance, drive sales with purpose and urgency, and communicate clearly and timely with the team.

Other responsibilities may be performed as needed to meet business needs. Overtime hours may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Able to build constructive and effective relationships within the store.
• Demonstrates positive communication with store associates at all levels.
• Exercises independent judgment and discretion, partnering with the Store Sales Manager as needed.
• Strong working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to regularly lift up to 40 lbs. from floor level to above shoulder height using appropriate equipment and safety techniques.
• Ability to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time.
