As a Famous Footwear Sales Associate, you are passionate about providing the best shoe store experience for every customer. Responsibilities

• Ace retail operations by ensuring daily store tasks (pricing, shipment processing, fulfillment, and inventory) are executed efficiently, keeping the store clean, organized, and shoppable.
• Champion Famous Footwear’s culture by embodying behaviors that enhance customer connection and deliver top-notch experiences.
• Drive sales and achieve goals by reviewing store performance, communicating clearly with the team, and employing active listening.
• Act with integrity by adhering to company policies, seeking feedback, and pursuing professional development.
• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, supporting teammates and embracing diversity.
• Assist customers with shoe recommendations, ensuring they leave with the perfect fit and a great experience.
• Perform other responsibilities as needed, including overtime, to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to build constructive and effective relationships within the store.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with associates at all levels.
• Independent judgment and discretion, partnering with the Store Sales Manager as needed.
• Working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Flexibility to work holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to regularly lift up to 40 lbs. from floor level to above shoulder height using appropriate equipment and safety techniques.
• Frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time.
