Part-Time Sales Associate - Famous Footwear

Famous Footwear is your place for athletic, fashion, and casual shoes for the whole family from hundreds of name brands. As a Sales Associate, you’ll create a welcoming in-store culture where customers feel valued and loyal to our brands and company.

Responsibilities

• Ace Retail Operations: Ensure daily store tasks (pricing, shipment processing, fulfillment, and inventory) are completed efficiently, keeping the store clean, organized, and shoppable.
• Be a Famous Culture Influencer: Champion our customer-centric culture by delivering top-notch customer engagement and experiences, helping customers find the styles and brands they love.
• Elevate to Your Goal-Crushing Era: Take accountability for store performance, drive sales with purpose, and communicate clearly and timely with the team to achieve goals.
• Act with Integrity: Adhere to company policies, seek feedback for professional growth, and maintain high standards in all tasks.

• Be a Shoe-off: Use your passion for shoes to help customers find the perfect fit and leave with a great experience.

Other responsibilities may be performed as needed to meet business needs. Overtime hours may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Able to build constructive and effective relationships within the store.
• Strong communication skills with associates at all levels.
• Independent judgment and discretion when partnering with the Store Sales Manager.
• Working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Flexibility to work holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to regularly lift up to 40 lbs. from floor level to above shoulder height using appropriate equipment and safety techniques.
• Frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time.
