Part Time Sales Associate

Responsibilities

• Operate with accuracy and efficiency with core banking systems and processing transactions through the sales associate cash drawer.
• Balance assigned cash daily and maintain strict adherence to security procedures, including sole control of cash drawer and adherence to cash limits.
• Identify customers by obtaining and verifying proper documentation of identification, endorsements, payees, cash, checks, withdrawals, transfers, and obtain supervisor approval for authorization at bank-established cash limits, including ensuring sufficient funds, excluding stop payments, and holds.
• Comply with all department and company policies, procedures, and overall security guidelines.
• Prepare mandatory currency transaction reports and monetary instrument logs in compliance with Bank Secrecy Act regulations, including adherence to KYC, OFAC, and Information Security policies and procedures.
• Maintain consistent performance towards meeting monthly branch and/or individual scorecard goals by monitoring self-performance and implementing action plans.
• Promote and maintain excellent customer service throughout the Bank by adhering to sales and service standards.
• Contribute to positive relationships with all internal and external customers.
• Communicate the Bank’s products and services effectively to clients.
• Be prepared to open and/or close the Branch as needed, and may require working outside of normal scheduled hours based on business needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of the Bank’s in-house Sales Associate Training Program.
• Previous customer service contact experience is highly desired.
• Ability to demonstrate a sales-oriented professional demeanor.
• Excellent communication skills required; verbal and written communications skills in Spanish or additional languages are a plus.
• Experience in handling money is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel) is required.
• Adequate understanding and working knowledge of appropriate core banking systems is a plus.
• Detailed oriented.
• Professionalism and confidentiality are essential.
• Flexibility on work schedule as business needs arise.
