Part-Time Sales Associate

Role Overview: Serve as a Cashier and/or Stocker, with leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager. Assist with setting up and maintaining merchandise displays and plan-o-grams, ensuring excellent customer service, and maximizing store profitability. Key Responsibilities: Unload trucks and process shipments following store procedures.Stock, rotate, and face merchandise; build displays; restock returned items.Assist customers in locating products and maintain store cleanliness.Operate cash registers, handle transactions, and provide friendly customer service.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shopping environment.Support opening and closing of the store, including cash handling and bank deposits.In the absence of managers, authorize refunds, oversee cash accountability, monitor security, and complete documentation. Qualifications & Skills: Ability to perform basic math and handle cash procedures.Knowledge of safety policies, cash handling, and merchandise presentation.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to read and follow plan-o-grams and merchandise guidelines. Experience & Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred, with at least six months of supervisory or related experience.
