Part-Time RN Supervisor

About the role

The RN House Supervisor is a registered nurse responsible for hospital-wide leadership, overseeing clinical, financial, human, and material resources to ensure quality, safety, and operational excellence. This role acts as a key member of the leadership team, managing activities in the absence of hospital administrators and department leaders, while collaborating with medical staff and staff across departments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and promote safety across the hospital.
• Implement performance improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma.
• Serve as a change agent and model professional standards.
• Uphold hospital policies and support a culture of safety and service excellence.
• Manage effective communication, conflict resolution, and emergency response.
• Allocate resources efficiently to maintain operational excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Nursing or a related field.
• Active nursing licensure (RN or RN-Compact).
• BLS certification.
