Part-Time RN Supervisor

About the Role

The RN House Supervisor provides hospital-wide leadership, overseeing clinical, operational, and safety functions in the absence of senior management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate hospital operations, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
• Supervise staff including department supervisors, assistant nurse managers, and charge nurses.
• Promote effective communication, teamwork, and a culture of safety and continuous improvement using evidence-based practices and Lean Six Sigma principles.
• Manage resources, handle emergency responses, and facilitate patient throughput and capacity management.
• Serve as a safety officer, ensuring regulatory compliance and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with physicians, staff, and patients to foster a positive environment.
• Model professional behavior, uphold ethical standards, and support service excellence.

Requirements

• Minimum education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing, Business Administration, or Health Administration.
• Active RN license (single or multi-state).
• BLS certification.
