About the role

Responsibilities

• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care
• Coordinating activities with ancillary departments to ensure optimal comfort and treatment
• Delivering care within the scope of nursing practice, adhering to professional guidelines, ethical standards, and organizational values
• Working in a therapeutic environment to support individuals with psychiatric illnesses, behavioral disorders, and substance use disorders through evaluation, education, medication therapy, individual and group therapy, and relapse prevention

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN)
• Current RN licensure in the state or a compact license
• Basic Life Support certification (obtained within 30 days if not already held)
