Join the LEGO® Brand Retail team as a part-time Team Leader at Danbury Fair Mall in Danbury, CT. Be a role model and provide a brand experience for our customers while inspiring the builders of tomorrow.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the ASM and SM in maintaining holiday, attendance, and team scheduling.
  • Supervise Sales Associates during shifts, addressing potential issues in line with LEGO policies and providing timely coaching and feedback.
  • Complete orders for store and office supplies within guidelines and operating budgets.
  • Ensure money handling procedures are followed by all Sales Associates.
  • Maintain a well-organized stockroom, ensuring all products are merchandised on the shop floor and loss prevention targets are achieved.
  • Assist the ASM and SM in achieving high standards of merchandise presentation following store guidelines.
  • Receive and process delivery of product and store materials.
  • Enhance profitable sales by regularly reviewing sales and margin information.
  • Ensure effective space management techniques are used.
  • Maintain the Store graphics system (including pricing) with a focus on customer service and maximizing profitable sales.
  • Keep all fixtures replenished at all times.
  • Evaluate and communicate competitor visual merchandising techniques to identify business opportunities.
  • Train Sales Associates on visual merchandising techniques according to LEGO® Brand Retail guidelines.
  • Empower and develop a high-performance team by sharing the LEGO® Brand, Vision, and Values.
  • Deliver inspirational retail experiences built on LEGO Brand Values.

Requirements

  • Leadership and/or management experience in a retail store environment.
  • Experience delivering employee training.
  • Experience with cash handling and inventory/sales auditing.
  • Familiarity with point of sale automated systems.
  • Experience with merchandise maintenance and visual merchandising.
  • Constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, and standing for at least two consecutive hours.
  • Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.
  • Vision abilities including close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to lift at least 30 lbs.
  • Must provide availability to work up to 30 hours per week covering the full week and weekend with a minimum of 4 days.

Pay

The hourly wage for this position ranges from $23.50 to $24.90 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints.

Schedule

Must provide availability to work up to 30 hours per week, covering the full week and weekend with a minimum of 4 days.
