Part Time - Restaurant Manager

Role Overview

The Assistant Restaurant Manager oversees daily restaurant operations, supporting the Restaurant Manager, and ensuring excellent guest service and food quality. They focus on developing a people- and guest-centric culture, managing staffing, recruiting, training, coaching, and evaluating employees to foster growth and ensure compliance with policies, safety regulations, and labor laws.

Responsibilities

• Monitor staffing levels, recruit, train, and develop team members
• Assign tasks, evaluate performance, and recognize employee achievements
• Assist in increasing catering sales and identify internal management candidates
• Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and brand standards
• Engage with guests, address concerns, and ensure a positive experience
• Analyze operational and financial performance using management tools
• Implement strategies for sales growth and cost management
• Support a respectful work environment and uphold regulatory compliance

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality management certification is a plus
• Proven management experience in the restaurant industry
• Knowledge of health, safety, and labor regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Food handler's certification and other relevant credentials
