Part-Time Respiratory Therapist (Weekend Night)

Role Overview The Respiratory Therapist provides critical respiratory care by assessing patients, developing, implementing, and evaluating care plans, and administering medications. They serve as a clinical resource, collaborate with healthcare team members, and offer health education to patients and families. The role involves clinical leadership and supporting continuous learning to enhance care delivery. Key Responsibilities Assess patients and develop individualized care plansImplement and evaluate treatment strategiesAdminister prescribed medications and therapiesProvide education to patients, families, and caregiversCollaborate with team members to ensure quality careSupport clinical leadership and participate in quality improvement activitiesComplete assigned goals efficiently Qualifications & Skills Current state license and RRT credential from the National Board for Respiratory CareRecent clinical experience in hospital, home care, or skilled nursing settingsSuccessful completion of hospital and departmental orientationBasic computer literacy (Windows and Microsoft Office)BLS certification within 14 days of hire; ACLS preferredAbility to perform complex assessments and procedures
