Part-Time Respiratory Therapist (Weekend Night)

About the Role

The Respiratory Therapist provides critical respiratory care by assessing patients, developing, implementing, and evaluating care plans, and administering medications. They serve as a clinical resource, offer health education to patients and families, and collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care. The role involves clinical leadership and supporting continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Administer prescribed medications and provide health education.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Support clinical leadership and pursue ongoing professional development.

Requirements

• Current state license and RRT credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care.
• Recent clinical experience in hospital, home care, or skilled nursing settings.
• Basic computer literacy with Windows and Microsoft Office.
• Successful completion of hospital and departmental orientation.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire; ACLS preferred.
