What You’ll Do

The Residential Counselor supports group home residents with daily living activities and ensures high quality services align with Individual Rehabilitation Plans (IRP).

• Support consumers in achieving personal care goals and addressing ongoing challenges.
• Educate consumers on medications, track logs, and conduct monthly audits.
• Cook up to coordinate services based on individual needs.
• Deliver high-quality care in line with IRP.
• Accurately document services within required timeframes using electronic health records.

Who You Are

• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in mental health, psychology, sociology, or social work, human services or a related field OR A combination of one (1) or more years’ of college, plus related life or work experience equal to four (4) years OR High school diploma or GED plus four (4) years of related work or life experience required.
• Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word. Essential function includes driving.
