About the role

The Respiratory Therapist III provides advanced respiratory care, medication administration, and patient assessment in complex care settings, primarily critical care areas.

Responsibilities

• Ventilator management
• Airway procedures
• Arsine blood gas analysis
• Patient education
• Mentoring staff and students
• Supporting invasive and non-invasive procedures
• Maintaining accurate documentation
• Fostering a collaborative environment

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program with science coursework
• Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s preferred
• Registered Respiratory Therapist and multiple certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP
• 0-2 years clinical experience, including at least 6 months in critical care
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, assessment, and computer skills
