Seeking dedicated school nurses (RN) to support children with autism in a preschool setting.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing student health
- Managing medical records
- Assessing illness
- Coordinating with parents and healthcare providers
- Supervising students
- Maintaining medical supplies
- Attending team meetings
- Performing related tasks as needed
Qualifications & Skills
- Valid NYS RN license in good standing required
- Vaccination required
- 1-2 years RN experience preferred; school nurse experience a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with families and healthcare professionals
- Commitment to supporting children with autism and promoting their well-being
Pay
$45/hour
Schedule
Part-time, 9am-2pm, five days a week, aligned with the school calendar and including summer weeks.
