About the Role

Registered Nurse in a stepdown overflow unit, providing high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions during admission and shifts, reporting changes promptly.
• Perform medical procedures, monitor responses, and ensure accurate documentation.
• Administer medications, observing therapeutic effects and responding to adverse reactions.
• Respond to patient requests, anticipate needs, and resolve issues efficiently.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatments, medications, and follow-up care.

Requirements

• RN licensure and Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
• Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Minimum of 1 year RN experience.
