Part-Time Registered Dosing Nurse

Role Overview

This position involves providing patient care under supervision in a clinic specializing in Opioid Use Disorder treatment.

Responsibilities

• Administering medication per physician orders and maintaining accurate records
• Maintaining accurate inventory and tracking medication supply accurately
• Collecting fees and reconciling cash daily
• Disposing of medical waste properly
• Observing patient demeanor prior to dosing
• Conducting lab tests and verifying dosages with other centers
• Monitoring patient vital signs and scheduling patient appointments
• Assisting in data collection for medical assessments
• Maintaining confidentiality of patient information and medical documentation
• Participating in audit preparations
• Interacting with patients and the public professionally

Qualifications & Skills

• Active RN license in Mississippi or multi-state
• Understanding of addiction, medical terminology, and nursing techniques
• Minimum 1-year patient contact experience; clinical experience preferred
• Computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Office, basic typing skills
