Primary Job Functions
- Collecting the waste materials from various areas of the warehouse and sorting them into designated containers based on the type of material such as cardboard, plastic, and foam
- Operating a baler to compact and bundle recyclable materials such as cardboard and plastic into dense and manageable blocks
- Operate PIV to move blocks of material
Secondary Job Functions
- Maintain reliable attendance
- Actively participate in departmental meetings, training and education
- Aid in training other employees and providing backup
- Complete other assignments and special projects as requested
- Follow all OSHA and Company established safety rules and procedures
Job Qualifications
- Education: High School, Diploma or equivalent
- Experience: 1 Year of warehouse
- Skills: Effective time management and organizational skills, Understanding the Lockout tagout process, Recycling principle, Work independently as well as in a team environment, Maintain confidentiality, Perform under strong demands in a fast-paced environment
