Part Time -Receptionist

AdviniaCare Oakland Grove is seeking a friendly and organized Receptionist to join our team! As the first point of contact for residents, families, and visitors, you will provide exceptional customer service and administrative support to our facility.

Responsibilities

• Operate telephone while utilizing proper phone etiquette
• Receive and direct all persons entering the facility to appropriate areas
• Perform general typing and secretarial functions
• Distribute paychecks per policy and procedure
• Receive and direct incoming mail and deliveries appropriately
• Demonstrate correct safety techniques
• Respect and take care of facility equipment and avoid wasteful use of supplies
• Contribute to and promote resident and family relations
• Maintain knowledge of facility’s Privacy Practice and comply by protecting all residents’ health information
• Other duties as assigned by manager

Requirements

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action and remain calm during emergency situations
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public
• Must be knowledgeable of administrative practices, procedures, and guidelines
• Must possess a cheerful personality and be able to work harmoniously with other personnel
• Must possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing practices
• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions
• Has knowledge of personnel application procedures
• Must be able to type 50 words per minute
• Is knowledgeable of all office equipment

Schedule

• Part-time, 16 hours per week
• Day and evening hours available
