Part-time Reading Recovery Teacher for 2018-2019 School Year

Responsibilities

• Plans instruction and assessment aligned with District learner outcomes and State achievement standards.
• Supervises assigned students and maintains a positive learning environment.
• Adapts instruction to meet the individual learning needs of all students resulting in an increased probability of advancing their achievement.
• Directs primary professional efforts toward the development and success of individual professional goals and specifically towards instructional improvement and the development of expertise in all areas of instruction.
• Maintains positive inter-personal relationships with students, parents, staff, and community members.
• Participates in PLC’s, growing professionally through teaming with colleagues and by participating in professional development activities and/or planning lessons, both collaboratively and independently.
• Supports PLC’s through personal involvement and by contributing to the professional growth of others through support of school and District culture.
