Part-Time Radiology Technologist - Mid-Day Shift

About the role

This position involves performing general radiographic imaging procedures on adult and pediatric patients to aid in diagnosis and treatment. The technologist prepares patients and equipment, provides instructions with professionalism, and conducts imaging examinations independently, including portable and on-call procedures. The position is within a facility accredited for various specialized care services, emphasizing quality and excellence in patient care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and equipment, ensuring clear communication and high customer service standards.
• Perform imaging procedures accurately and independently, including portable and on-call exams.
• Maintain safety and quality standards during procedures.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Associate degree or trade school certification (or equivalency).
• Licenses: Registered Radiologic Technologist (R.T.(R)) and Illinois licensure (excluding MRI).
• Experience: Entry level or up to 2 years preferred; experience in vascular, neurovascular, MR, CT, or specialized radiology is preferred, with a minimum of no experience required.
• Additional certifications: CPR certification is advantageous/beneficial.

Pay
