About the role
Radiologic Technologist responsible for obtaining diagnostic radiographs using various imaging equipment in a multi-specialty healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
- Operate ionizing radiation equipment, including fluoroscopic, digital, and routine radiographic systems, following departmental policies and protocols.
- Provide radiographic support across multiple locations, including ambulatory surgery centers, using radiographic C-arms or portable units, and perform fluoroscopic exams as needed.
- Utilize Radiology Information System (RIS) and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) for clerical tasks and image management.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent; graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program.
- Eligible for ARRT(R) registry and MRT General Certificate within one year of eligibility.
- Current BLS certification.
- Proficient in computer use, digital image acquisition, and effective communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree in Radiology Technology.
- Over one year of clinical radiology experience.
- Experience with PACS and RIS systems; bilingual abilities are a plus.
Pay
Hourly pay ranges from $24.00 to $43.00, based on experience and qualifications.
