Part Time - Radiologic Technologist

About the Role

A Radiologic Technologist specializing in pediatric diagnostic imaging, performing a range of imaging procedures while ensuring a comforting and safe environment for young patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Perform various imaging procedures including X-rays, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, CT, and MRI on children.
• Create a comforting environment for young patients and families.
• Ensure accurate, high-quality images.
• Uphold patient privacy and modesty.
• Identify patient rights and Advanced Directives.
• Report suspected abuse or neglect.
• Understand and follow bioethics protocols.

Requirements

• Graduate of a Radiology Program with at least 5 years of Radiologic Technologist experience.
• California Radiologic Technologist license.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification.

Qualifications & Skills

• Deep understanding of pediatric imaging needs and child-friendly workflow.
• Strong patient interaction skills.
• Adherence to ethical standards.
• Preferred: Associate’s degree, ARRT registration, expanded IV Therapy course.
