Responsibilities
- Performing radiographic exams following protocols and proper positioning
- Providing patient education on procedures and positioning
- Practicing radiation safety to minimize exposure
- Assisting with basic patient care, triaging, and discharge tasks
- Measuring and recording vital signs such as blood pressure and temperature
- Conducting simple lab procedures like EKGs, urine collection, and nasal swabs
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or equivalent and completion of an approved R.T program
- Current ARRT certification, Maryland State Radiographer License, and CPR certification
- Minimum one year of clinical experience preferred
Skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology and human anatomy
- Proficiency with x-ray equipment
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to work long shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
Pay
Competitive hourly pay of $35-$40, with overtime opportunities
$2,500 sign-on bonus for full-time roles
