Part-Time Radio Traffic Specialist

About the role

Midwest Communications is looking for a Part-Time Radio Traffic Specialist to keep the behind-the-scenes side of our Michigan radio stations running smoothly. You’ll schedule commercials, handle billing and invoices, keep deadlines from sneaking up on you, and tackle general office tasks. You’ll help make sure the right stuff happens at the right time—which is kind of important in radio.

Requirements

• Organized and detail-oriented
• Strong computer skills
• Enjoy helping people and providing great customer service
• Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities
• Positive, dependable attitude
• Valid Michigan driver’s license
• Pass a satisfactory motor vehicle and background check

Qualifications

• Previous office, administrative, customer service, or traffic experience is a plus, but not required
• No prior radio experience necessary—training will be provided
