Part-Time (PT) Testing Services Proctor

Major Responsibilities

• Provide certification, assessment, and distance education exam administration according to designated proctor policies and procedures
• Conduct remote test proctoring as needed via a secure internet connection
• Complete all required high stakes exam proctor training and stay current with exam protocol changes
• Maintain accurate records of all assessment services provided and supply this information to appropriate college offices on a timely basis
• Adjust testing procedures for individuals according to documentation provided by the Special Needs Counselor prior to testing sessions
• Auxiliary duties include assisting with scheduling center activity, responding to customer queries, promoting, demonstrating, and maintaining a professional manner and appearance

Requirements

• Associates degree, or ½ years relevant work experiences
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Strong organizational skills, ability to manage and coordinator multiple tasks
• One to two years of excellent communication and customer service experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn new software
• Demonstrate ability to promote an inclusive environment that reflects the broad diversity and backgrounds represented by our students and customers in which every individual feels respected and valued

Qualifications

• Ability to work at Lake County Campus sites, which include Crown Point, East Chicago, and Gary locations and other external contracted site locations/assignments
• Ability to travel may be required at times

$15/hr

Schedule

Normal office hours: 8 AM - 5 PM, Monday through Friday (Some tests might be administered outside of normal office hours and / or on weekends.)
