Right At School provides local school districts with before and after school extended-day programs focused on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment to support the success of all students. About the role

As a Program Manager, you will drive our mission by ensuring safety and joy standards are met, supporting operational efficiency, and fostering respectful relationships among staff. You will engage meaningfully with families, client partners, peers, and children to build trust and transparency, while maintaining accurate records and compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Exhibit role model qualities to ensure safety and joy standards are met by supporting a clear understanding of roles and responsibilities for a team of staff members.
  • Support operational efficiency by keeping site documents and licensing standards up to date.
  • Outline attendance protocols, behavior policies, safety procedures, and ensure program tasks are completed effectively.
  • Provide continual coaching and foster respectful relationships among staff to address challenges promptly and maintain team cohesion and productivity.
  • Engage meaningfully with families, client partners, peers, and children to support effective communication and relationship building.
  • Respond promptly to emails, text messages, and inquiries during program hours to ensure transparency and trust.
  • Communicate and collaborate regularly with the Area Manager to support outlined program goals and assist in implementing changes or processes as guided.
  • Consistently support and report on safety protocols to ensure the well-being of all participants.
  • Maintain accurate records for student check-ins and check-outs, ensuring “name to face” attendance procedures are completed per company policy.
  • Implement daily activities, fitness fun, and curriculum while providing a safe and engaging environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED completed.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • Experience working with children and knowledge of unique and special needs.
  • Coursework or training in child development and/or related field.
  • Strong communication skills; oral, written, and visual with adults and children.
  • Ability to model professional standards when dealing with students, parents, staff, and community.
  • Familiarity with Google technology software or willingness to learn.
  • Ability to meet Pennsylvania state-specific requirements, including:
    • First Aid and CPR (in-person).
    • Cleared tuberculosis test.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will have experience with competing priorities and delivering quality service to all stakeholders. The following qualifications are accepted for Pennsylvania state requirements:

  • BA or BS in early childhood, child development, special education, elementary education, or the human services field.
  • BS degree including 30 hours in early childhood, child development, special education, elementary education, or the human services field + 2 years of experience.
  • Associate’s degree (AD) in early childhood, child development, special education, elementary education, or the human services field + 3 years of experience.
  • Associate’s degree (AD) in any field + 1 year of experience.
  • BA or BS in any field including 30 hours in early childhood, child development, special education, elementary education, or the human services field + 4 years of experience.

Pay

$20.00–$24.00 per hour, based on education and experience.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 8:20 AM and 3:10 PM to 6:00 PM.
