Program Manager

Right At School provides local school districts with before and after school extended day programs focused on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment. Our mission is to inspire a love of learning, support schools, and give families peace of mind by fostering a safe, engaging environment for children.

About the role

As a Program Manager at Right At School, you'll drive the mission by ensuring safety and joy standards are met, supporting a clear understanding of roles and responsibilities, and fostering respectful relationships among staff to address any challenges or issues promptly. You'll also communicate effectively with families, clients, peers, and children to build relationships and provide transparency and trust.

Responsibilities

  • Exhibits role model qualities ensuring safety and joy standards are met by supporting a clear understanding of the roles and responsibilities to a team of staff members.
  • Safeguard operational efficiency by keeping site documents and licensing standards up to date.
  • Outline attendance protocols, behavior policies, safety procedures, and ensure program tasks are completed effectively.
  • Continually coach staff to foster respectful relationships and maintain team cohesion and productivity.
  • Support safety protocols to ensure the well-being of all participants.
  • Engage meaningfully with families, client partners, peers, and children to support effective communication and relationship building.
  • Respond promptly to emails, text messages, and inquiries during program hours to ensure transparency and trust.
  • Communicate and collaborate regularly with the Area Manager to support outlined program goals and assist in implementing changes or processes as guided.
  • Maintain accurate records for student check-ins and check-outs. Ensure "name to face" attendance procedures are completed per company policy.
  • Implement daily activities, fitness fun, and curriculum while providing a safe and engaging environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED completed.
  • Experience working with children and knowledge of unique and special needs.
  • Coursework or training in child development and/or related field.
  • Effective communication skills; oral, written, and visual with adults and children.
  • Ability to model professional standards when dealing with students, parents, staff, and community.
  • Familiarity with Google technology software or willingness to learn.
  • Submit proof of MMR.
  • Age 18 or older.
  • Cleared tuberculosis test.
  • Georgia State Requirements: Ability to meet state-specific requirements; First Aid and CPR-in-person.
  • One of the following and 6 months of qualifying experience:
    • TCC in Early Childhood, or Child Dev
    • TCC in Infant and Toddler
    • TCC in Program Administration
    • TCC in School Age and Youth Care
    • TCD in Early Childhood Education or Child Dev
    • 40 hour Director Training course approved by the department
    • AA in Early Childhood Education or Child Dev
    • Paraprofessional Certificate issued by Georgia Professional Standards Commission
    • 15 college semester hours in Early Childhood or Child Dev
    • Bachelor's degree in any field of study
    • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development
    • Master's Degree in Early Childhood or Child Dev

Qualifications

  • 21 years or older.
  • Minimum of 5 years as an on-site child care learning center director.
  • 40 hour Director Training course approved by the department.
  • AA in Early Childhood Education or Child Development.
  • Paraprofessional Certificate issued by Georgia Professional Standards Commission.
  • 15 college semester hours in Early Childhood or Child Dev.
  • Bachelor's degree in any field of study.
  • 3 months of qualifying child care experience.
  • Master's Degree in Early Childhood or Child Development.

$21.00-$24.00 (based on education and experience)

Schedule

Monday to Friday 3:15 PM - 6:00 PM
