Part Time Produce Associate

About the role

We are seeking a Fresh Cut Produce Associate responsible for maintaining and operating the Fresh Cut Produce department, including trimming and preparing various fruits and vegetables according to standards. The role may involve tasks in other departments based on customer needs, with additional responsibilities assigned as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Preparing merchandise
• Maintaining display quality
• Ensuring a clean and safe work environment
• Adhering to food safety, PPE, and safety guidelines

Qualifications and Skills

• Prior retail experience is a plus
• Basic computer and math skills
• Ability to work independently
• Effective time management
• Excellent customer service and communication skills

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to perform bending, stooping, and twisting
• Work environment involves varied temperatures and exposure to outside weather conditions
• Low to moderate noise level
