About the role

Join our Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health team as a PRN Pharmacist. You will collaborate with dedicated professionals to support Devereux's National Center and Centers nationwide with pharmacy-related needs.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the team and external professionals to deliver high-quality pharmacy services focusing on accuracy and customer service.
  • Ensure all prescriptions/medications dispensed are appropriate for the ages and populations served.
  • Compound and dispense medications using standard physical and chemical procedures.
  • Affirm compliance with patient care quality standards and assist in purchasing and maintaining pharmaceuticals and supplies.
  • Participate in department planning, education, and human resource management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
  • Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist by the State Board of Pharmacy in New Jersey; minimum of four (4) years of experience in a hospital, long-term care, or retail pharmacist setting.
  • Broad knowledge of professional and commercial phases of the pharmaceutical industry, including drug actions, side effects, contraindications, and normal dosage ranges, and familiarity with Federal, State, and local laws regarding pharmacy and drug dispensing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong customer service skills and team player with the ability to adapt to change and work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Multi-tasker with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Valid driver’s license and car required.

Pay

$65/hour

Schedule

Availability during weekdays, M-F as needed between 8am and 4:30pm.
