Job Summary

Right At School provides before and after school extended day programs focusing on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment. The mission is to inspire a love of learning, support schools, and give families peace of mind by building a team of mission-driven individuals.

About the Role

Substitute Educators are needed to provide care and instruction during the absence of regular staff. They will drive the mission by leading daily program meetings, organizing and facilitating daily activities, and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Review goals and updates, share ideas, discuss professional progress, encourage collaboration, and team accountability each day.
• Prepare and lead structured daily activities aligned with program objectives, ensuring they are both educational and enjoyable for all ages.
• Maintain a safe and nurturing environment, addressing potential hazards and following safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
• Model positive guidance and effective classroom management.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.

Qualifications

• Works well in a team environment.
• Ability to meet state-specific requirements.
• Certified in First Aid and CPR.
• Cleared tuberculosis test.
• Proof of MMR.
• 18+ years of age.
• High School diploma or GED.

Pay

$15.00-$18.00 per hour (based on education and experience)

Monday-Friday 6:30am-12:30pm
