Part Time Substitute Educator- Milford Exempted Village Schools

About the role

Substitute Educator Right At School provides local school districts with before and after school extended day programs focused on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment. Our mission is to inspire a love of learning, support schools, and give families peace of mind by building a team of mission-driven individuals passionate about fostering a love of learning and creating safe, engaging experiences for children.

Responsibilities

• Drive the mission by reviewing goals and updates, sharing ideas, discussing professional progress, encouraging collaboration, and promoting team accountability.
• Organize and facilitate daily activities, preparing activities and curriculum that align with program objectives and are both educational and enjoyable for all ages.
• Maintain a safe and nurturing environment by modeling positive guidance and effective classroom management, monitoring the environment, addressing potential hazards, and following all safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with a varied audience, including children, parents, staff, and school personnel.

Requirements

• Prioritize safety and joy by monitoring the environment, addressing potential hazards, and following all safety protocols.
• Works well in a team environment.
• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age.
• Able to lift 25 lbs.
• Flexible to support additional local programs as needed.

Qualifications

• Ohio State Requirements: Ability to meet state-specific requirements; First Aid and CPR-in-person; Cleared tuberculosis test; Proof of MMR; 18+ years of age; Proof of High School diploma/GED.

Pay

$15.00-$18.00 per hour (based on education and experience)

Schedule

Monday-Friday 6:30am to 8:25am AND 3:10pm to 6:30pm
