Part-Time Porter

About the role

This position involves helping room attendants ensure guest rooms are clean, refreshed, and ready for check-in. Key responsibilities include stripping linens and emptying trash.

Responsibilities

• Strip linens from guestrooms

• Help room attendants maintain guest rooms

Requirements

• A genuine and friendly approach to guest interactions
• Able to collaborate with teammates and other departments
• Previous experience in janitorial, cleaning, or housekeeping preferred but not required
• Able to interact with guests in a friendly manner
• English fluency may not be required, but sufficient communication skills are needed
• Able to manage time and prioritize tasks efficiently
• Able to lift, bend, carry, and stand for extended periods

Qualifications

• Self-motivated to complete tasks efficiently and thoroughly
• Able to manage time and prioritize tasks to ensure rooms are done within prescribed time limits and to standard
• Able to push, pull, bend, and lift
• Able to work quickly and constantly on your feet
• Basic understanding of cleaning tools, equipment, and chemicals
• Able to follow safety protocols and report safety hazards
