About the Role
Residential and commercial property owners rely on Janitors to protect the health of tenants, guests, and vendors. Planned Companies Building Services (PBS) is hiring friendly, detail-oriented Janitors and Custodians to provide common area and bathroom cleaning services. You’ll ensure properties are clean, healthy, and safe for occupants while maintaining a polite, respectful, and observant approach to service.
Schedule
- Saturday–Sunday: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
- Monday: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM
Pay
Hourly pay: $17
Responsibilities
- Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors of various types
- Stripping, buffing, and waxing floors
- Dusting ceilings, light fittings, countertops, and loose furniture
- Scrubbing and sanitizing bathroom toilets, sinks, and kitchen fixtures
- Emptying trash cans and washing/drying windows
- Requesting cleaning supplies and reporting breakages or needed repairs
- Assisting building management with projects and other duties as requested
Requirements
- Willingness to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
- Experience in similar roles using cleaning products and floor/carpet equipment
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong report writing and verbal communication skills
- High School diploma or equivalent (preferred)
