About the role
Oregon Urology Institute has an opening for a Part-time Physician Associate/Nurse Practitioner – Rapid Access Clinic (RAC).
Responsibilities
- Provides care at OUI's main campus located at 2400 Hartman Lane, Springfield, OR 97477.
- Evaluate patients to determine their medical condition and create care plan.
- Appointments are every 15-30 minutes.
- Perform clinical procedures for patient's benefit which are within scope and skill of practitioner.
- Communicate information to patients regarding diagnosis and treatment goals.
- Communicate with primary urology care team regarding patients visit to the RAC.
- Maintains accurate, complete, and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
- Perform other job-related duties, as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted PA or NP license in the state of Oregon or the ability to obtain.
- Ability to obtain DEA license.
- Knowledge of treatment and drug interactions.
- ER/Urgent Care or urology experience required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
This is a Part-time position that offers flexibility and no weekends or holidays.
