About the role

The Center for Sports Medicine and Orthopaedics is seeking a Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner for a part-time position at our weekend Urgent Care Clinic in Chattanooga, TN. The Center for Sports Medicine & Orthopaedics is Chattanooga's leading provider of multi-specialty orthopaedic care since 1979. We have 12 convenient locations in the Chattanooga, North Georgia, and the surrounding area. We offer advanced sports medicine, orthopaedics, surgery, physical and occupational therapy, and sports training.

Responsibilities

• Examining patients
• Prescribing medications
• Ordering diagnostic tests and imaging
• Diagnosing injuries and illnesses
• Educating patients
• Providing appropriate treatment in the clinic and/or hospital setting
• Working under the supervision of one or more physicians of the Center for Sports Medicine and Orthopaedics

Qualifications

• PA or NP license required
• BLS (CPR) certification required
• ACLS certification required
