About the Role

Serve as a Physician Assistant and commissioned Medical Corps Officer in the Army National Guard, supporting Soldiers and their families by providing critical medical care and making vital decisions alongside physicians.

Responsibilities

• Cover treatment gaps and ensure the health and vitality of military personnel
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver effective medical services

Requirements

• Must meet medical and moral standards
• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Must have completed an accredited degree
• Must be at least 21 years old (some advanced professionals may join up to age 58)
• Able to obtain a secret security clearance

Key Duties & Training

• Complete a 26-day military orientation and training at Fort Sam Houston
• Work with fellow Medical Professional Officers to develop leadership and clinical skills
