Part-Time Physical Therapist

Position Overview

Brevard Academy is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide school-based services for students with disabilities. The PT helps students access their education by delivering consultative and direct therapy aligned with IEP goals and completing Medicaid billing documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• C Conduct evaluations and implement individualized PT services based on IEPs.
• P Provide therapy and recommendations for adaptive equipment and modifications.
• C Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student participation.
• M Maintain thorough records and complete Medicaid billing documentation.
• A Attend meetings or trainings as required.

Qualifications

• NC Physical Therapist license (required).
• E Experience with school-aged children or pediatric populations preferred.
• C Effective communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.

Schedule

Up to 6 hours per week.
