Part-Time Phlebotomist

About the Role

As a Phlebotomist II, you will be responsible for drawing quality blood samples, ensuring specimen accuracy, and providing excellent patient care. You will perform blood collection, processing, and specimen verification following established procedures while building trust with patients through clear communication and a safe, professional environment.

This role requires leadership, process excellence, and a strong commitment to safety and confidentiality. You will work independently across various locations, adapt to staffing needs, and handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collection, including pediatric and geriatric collections, with precision and care.
• Ensure specimen labeling integrity and maintain accurate records.
• Explain procedures clearly to patients to build trust and ensure comfort.

• Handle documentation and specimen verification following established protocols.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
• High school diploma or equivalent; preferred medical training.
• Phlebotomy certification (required in certain states).
• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to staffing needs across multiple locations.
