Part-Time Phlebotomist
About the role
IVI RMA North America is seeking a Part-Time Phlebotomist to join their team at the new Paramus location, which is set to open in the fall. Training will commence at their Englewood location.
Responsibilities
- Properly identifies patients
- Performs and explains the process of venipunctures and other specimen collections as required
- Draws blood, labels specimens, and centrifuges specimens
- Stores and transports specimen samples according to different procedures to maintain specimen integrity
- Understands and complies with OSHA and DEP regulations
- Maintains a clean and stocked phlebotomy area
- Reassures patients and provides comfort to ease their anxieties
Requirements/Experience
- 3+ years' recent work performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings
Technical Skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Word and Outlook
- Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience

Schedule
The Phlebotomist works Monday through Friday from 5:30am to 11:30am with rotating holidays and weekends.
