About the role
We’re seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team and provide accurate and professional specimen collection services. Key responsibilities include:
Responsibilities
- Ensure all patient paperwork is accurately completed and required information is captured.
- Perform specimen collections including blood and urine with precision and care.
- Serve as a liaison between patients, clients, and laboratory staff.
- Adhere to confidentiality, HIPAA, and compliance standards.
- Maintain accurate client records and update information as necessary.
- Stay current on training and best practices for specimen collections.
- Provide regular updates and collaborate with office staff, laboratory technologists, and managers.
- Follow all state and federal laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Take on additional responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Phlebotomy Certification required.
- Experience in specimen collection including blood and urine or related healthcare services.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
- Prior experience in a customer service position.
- Familiarity with record-keeping and administrative duties.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and perform repetitive tasks.
- Long periods of sitting or standing may be required.
- Exposure to safety risks, diseases, or infections while collecting biological specimens.

- Highly organized and efficient, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
