About the role
Phlebotomist responsible for specimen collection and patient service in a medical setting.
Responsibilities
- Performing venipuncture and capillary blood draws for all age groups
- Collecting specimens for various tests such as drug screens and paternity tests
- Accurately entering patient data and processing billing information
- Preparing specimens for testing and maintaining logs
- Providing exceptional customer service and administrative support
- Traveling to additional sites as needed
Qualifications & Skills
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Preferred: Phlebotomy certification or 6+ months experience
- Ability to pass color blindness test and work flexible hours
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Ability to work independently or in a team with minimal supervision
